- Stress Management: Having difficulty coping, tense, stressed, digestive upsets, irritability, high shallow breathing, faster heart rate, sweating, aches, difficulty sleeping, worries, altered behaviour? I can work with you in partnership, using a cognitive behavioural approach to help you challenge negative thinking, gain insight, and find solutions. - Relaxation therapy is suitable for everyone and ideal if you are over stressed, or have a chronic condition. Learn relaxation skills to use at home or work.
- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or 'Tapping') I teach you 'tapping' on acupuncture points whilst saying statements focused on your problem. For your worries, fears, phobias, cravings, goal setting, lifting mood, taking the edge off pain or helping improve restricted movement. Some emotional upsets keep resurfacing, something 'hits a nerve' and your reaction is suddenly over the top. EFT can be very effective. Can be used in conjunction with CBT.
- S.A.D. or Seasonal Affective Disorder -
Do you get a seasonal depression where mood nosedives with the dull
days of winter, or dull rainy summer? Perhaps fatigue, lethargy,
loss of libido, disturbed sleep, mood swings or just feeling down?
